Description: Texarkana College is seeking a Controller. This position reports to the Vice President of Administration and Finance.
Responsibilities: Plans, manages, and coordinates the operations of the General Ledger, Grants and Accounts Payable including account reconciliation, transaction processing, disbursements, financial reporting and analysis, and audit preparation.
Assure adequate system of internal controls.
Supervises staff to ensure the efficiency and integrity of College accounting services.
Approves payables.
Perform reconciliations of complex activities such as financial aid program and self funded health insurance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Three years related work experience, including one year of supervisory work experience, preferably in fund accounting and/or a higher education environment.

Description: Texarkana College is seeking an Executive Director of Campus Police and Public Safety. This is an exempt, 12 month position. The position is to oversee police, security and safety operations and provide supervision, leadership, direction and vision to the Campus Police Department.
Responsibilities: Provides direction for the safety and security of College personnel, students, and others using College facilities and grounds. Plans and implements effective safety procedures, monitors daily operational procedures for the Campus Police, and develops and monitors annual plans to improve departmental accountability, effectiveness, and professional development. Selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates department personnel. Directs proper investigation and follow up to crimes, misdemeanors, infractions of College policies, safety hazards, and motor vehicle accidents. Prepares and makes presentations on subjects related to campus safety.
Organizes and chairs the Crisis Management Planning and Operations Team. Prepares and executes security and public safety plans for large scale and multiple day events.
Must possess knowledge of Texas Penal Code, Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Texas Family Code, Texas Education Code, and Texas Motor Vehicle Code.
Must possess knowledge of current principles and practices related to policing, safety and security. Must have applied knowledge of investigative and interrogative procedures, techniques and protocols. Must have demonstrated abilities in supervisory principles, practices, and methods.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Five years work experience in law enforcement, including three years of supervisory experience in a command law enforcement position. Experience in community based police operations in an institution of higher education is preferred.

Bachelors’ degree in a related field of study.

Responsibilities: Support the Director of IRE in Research and Effectiveness activities.
Assist in the coordination, collection, and analysis of student tracking data to effectively complete required or necessary reports.
Conduct research with emphasis upon learning outcomes, developmental education, retention, and student success. Conduct research, analyzes data, and develop reports to support effective decision-making.
